5th Circuit Seat

Sid Salter writes that Mike Wallace has asked that his nomination to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals to fill Judge Pickering's seat be withdrawn. In another piece, Salter (who covered the unfair attacks on Pickering and then on Wallace as well) asks "Now, can someone give Wallace his reputation back?" President Bush can now choose another nominee for the seat.
